I didn't really expect this to work, but I couldn't afford the normal expensive loose mineral powder I normally use, so I just picked something randomly to tide me over until I could. I'm never going back! I've only been using this for a week and my face is so clear! I mean, there are still some blemishes, probably mostly acne scars. However, I used to wake up every day with at least one or two new pimples, and now I've had maybe one this whole week. I use it along with Proactiv (which honestly by itself doesn't do very much). Neutrogena scrubs and cleansers never really helped either. However, I think using Proactiv (benzoyl peroxide) along with this mineral powder (which contains salicylic acid) together probably did the job. I'd definitely recommend this product, but if you have acne problems, try combining 2 or more active ingredient acne-fighting chemicals in any form (cleansers, masks, scrubs, toners, concealer, etc) and see if it... I started using this powder yesterday in Natural Ivory (20) because I found that two applications of the Buff (30) made my face too dark and didn't blend well into my neck. This is a great combination for my fair skin, and it glides on flawlessly! My skin looks radiant and doesn't feel heavy at all, even with a liquid AND a powder applied to it. It also feels very healthy, like it can breathe through all the makeup. I would say definitely use this powder, as it provides great coverage without being weighty or clogging your pores. It even comes with a double-sided applicator with one side (orange) for sheer coverage and one side (white) for more complete coverage! I ran to Target & bought this product, curious to see how much coverage it could provide, given that I have a lot of post-acne marks on my face. The fact that it has salicylic acid in it is amazing; there was a huge sore zit on my forehead & after wearing the powder for less than a day already it's going down. But when I put it on, my complexion looked dull, chalky and dry. I also used my Revlon PhotoReady Liquid Makeup over the powder so that I had more coverage & a glowing brown color to my face. I also put a little more powder on top so I didn't look so shiny. But I'm definitely going to keep using the two together so my skin can be pretty with AND without makeup :) Go Neutrogena! |
