A friend of mine is a make-up artist and recommended Lorac Primer. It was also recommended to me by a clerk at Sephora. I like the light-weight, watery texture. It is almost like having nothing on my face. I have oily skin and use moisturizer to fight wrinkles; however, I noticed immediately that using moisturizer and this Primer didn't work. I was shiny it seems within an hour! I suppose since Lorac primer has water is the main ingredient that's why. So I have tried using it without using a moisturizer which is better, but by hour 4 my nose and forehead are extremely shiny. I got a few sample packets of this when I ordered a Kabuki brush from Too Faced and I'm in love with this stuff. It's nice and lightweight and I love the watery texture because it makes it much easier to spread, a little really does go a long way.I also have sensitive skin and the lightweight feel of this is wonderful. My make up also lasts for hours and hours, which is amazing, I don't have to keep checking my mirror every few hours. I've been using Primed and Poreless for months and it's nice and all, but I always hated how heavy and greasy it felt on my skin and the fact that it's main ingredient it oil, which is no good for my skin as it causes me to break out from time to time, but Loracs main ingredient is water, not oil and this has yet to cause a single pimple on my skin so I'll gladly spend the money on a full sized bottle of this primer. |
