1. Begin with the under-eye area. Using a brush or wand, lightly dab concealer along the darkest area under your eye in a crescent shape. Be sure to apply to the inner and outer corners of your eyes as well. 2. Take the pad of your ring finger and lightly dab to blend. Do not pull or rub. This will irritate the delicate under-eye area and remove the makeup you’re trying to put on. 3. Next, apply a light foundation, focusing on the center of the face and blending outward toward the hairline. 4. Look in the mirror and notice your skin tone. I am 31 years old with dark eye circles that I have had most of my life, so I am always searching for the next best concealer. I tried this in the hopes that the eye-wrinkle cream in it would correct and prevent the fine lines that are developing. Unfortunately, the product settled into those little fine lines--accentuating them--and proceeded to crease and crack, which made me look 10 years older than I am. It may be considered affordable in relation to many beauty products out there, but I do not earn the kind of money to spend $12.00 on something that does not work. If you do buy this product, keep the receipt since you might--like me--have to take it back. (Sad to see the pancake concealer - Prescriptives go, it was great). The Corrector did not contribute to oil production I could almost wear the corrector alone, good yellow base but not garish! I use it all over areas of my face - not just for under the eye. I in fl. where make up is a challenge because of the heat. This product workrd fine did not melt off. I have a couple fine lines and this corrector does not settle in them so that is a plus plus +++++! A winner here! Even though I was not a beach go'er I never used sunscreen on my face as a daily regiment till I was smarter & in my 30's - I am 50 now. However after about a week the product, which is really a lot less then other foundation brands, started to get dry and went on much harder and made my skin look dry. I kept the lid on tightly, so I'm disappointed that I'll have to throw out whats left. To expensive and wasteful, and it had such promise when new...very disappointed. Using this product will provide a powdered /no shine result especially if you blot before applying. It allowed me to go from blotting 10-12 times a day to 4-5 times instead. For someone with really oily skin this product will help reduce shine for the whole day - especially if you re-apply mid-day. After about 6-8 months of daily use i found it wasn't as effective so a user may need to take a 1-2 month break then continue use to maintain the same level of effectiveness. My aunt sells Mary Kay and recommended that i use this product. I was skeptical because i only use MAC make up products, and at the time was using proactiv's oil mattifier. after using the this for a week i was hooked. it soaks up the oil so much better than proactiv's! i was shocked. when i ran out of it i had to buy clearisil oil mattifier.. it didnt work half as good as this mary kay! this is without a doubt the best oil mattifier i have ever used. and i have really oily skin! i apply it each morning to my clean face, i only use a tiny tab on my forehead and then i rub it in around my chin and nose area as well. then i apply my makeup and it lasts for the entire day without having to re-apply. if i dont use the mattifier, i have oily and shiny skin that i notice immediately. if you have oily shiny skin and are sick of carrying around oil pads all day, BUY THIS PRODUCT.
