I used this device daily for 10 weeks and found it to be effective. It does NOT provide an immediate result, nor does it give a "face lift" that is significantly noticeable. What it does do is TONE the facial muscles over time, providing it is used regularly as directed. The device is rechargeable, ergonomic and easy to handle and offers a timer that helps to regulate your movement during treatment. The conductivity gel that comes with the device is required so that you do not feel the microcurrent. NuFace recommends that you only use their conductivity product, yet I find it dries too quickly during the treatment and expensive for what it actually is. I use plain aloe vera gel and it is perfect, lasts through the treatment time and is non irritating to my sensitive skin. OK, so the process is to cleanse your face and dry it. For starters, I'm passionate about Microcurrent. After working in the cosmetics industry in the 80s, I'm a skincare & gadget junkie. I was unhappy with the original NUFACE and sold it on eBay after a few months of erratic use. It ate batteries and I couldn't tell if it was functioning or not. Uncomfortable to hold, and gel was sticky, awful I also use Facemaster Platinum, and I found that to work great around the eyes and mouth but not the cheek/jawline/chin/neck.Last fall I started salon microcurrent treatments - now on maintenance, 1x mo. Just got the NUFACE Trinity on Amazon after reading positive reviews elsewhere. Still using FM for eye/mouth areas, but prime concern is jowls. The skin on my face and neck was starting to sag. I decided to get serious about stopping the ravages of time. I had been using Strivectin creams regularly, not much help there. I bought the Palovia laser which helped tremendously with wrinkles around my eyes and mouth (and it helped with lifting my eyelids). But my skin on my neck and jowls were still sagging. So I made another big investment and purchased this Trinity. I have only used it about one week. I am so pleased with the results already. My face looks like I am going backwards in time. I am also using it on a much stretched out stomach( stretched from pregnancy) it is helping to smooth and tighten already. I will update this in a few months and let people know the final results after the 90 day everyday usage period. But, so far so good. |
