I started using this product to try to lighten acne scars. After the first few weeks, I didn't notice a difference. Then about 2 month after I started, I noticed that the dark spots almost disappeared. I started using the serum on other scars (scrapes, pet bites/scratches) and they are fading too!

I noticed my complexion was brighter after first week of use. I've stopped using this for the time being because I'm dealing with my combo/acne skin issues but I surely recommended this product. I'm not sure if it's okay for my skin right now but if you have normal skin, this is one Eminence product worth buying. If you follow the twice a day application routine, you will surely see a noticeably brighter complexion.

I have used the clinique city block 25 SPF for a few years now and it is odorless. It is the only sunscreen that I have found that I can tolerate on my face. It does not make my eyes water. I am very sensitive to odors and chemical components of most sunscreens. As far as protection goes, this 25 SPF is just OK. I got sunburned this weekend from being in the sun for approximately 3 hours after applying 2 coats before going out. So you must reapply very often to get good sun protection. The city block is great under foundation or alone. I use the city block and then cover with pressed powder. Great for limited sun exposure. Be careful because the next step up with clinique is city block 40 SPF which DOES have a sunscreen odor and causes eye irritation, for me at least.

This does double-duty for me year-round as a light foundation and sunscreen. I have very fair oily/sensitive skin, and it has never been irritated or broken out from City Block. I especially like that it's appropriate for the eye area because I've found it very hard to find a sunscreen okay for eyes except an Avon product, which they discontinued. I've never gotten a sunburn while wearing it, but under a searing summer sun I mix a higher SPF sunscreen with it like Neutrogena's oil-free for faces, or Blue Lizard oil-free for faces, both of which my skin can tolerate well. By mixing it in this way, City Block still serves as my lightweight "foundation." My skin had an adverse reaction to Clinique's similar product, Almost Make-up, so I hope they don't ever discontinue City Block. Recommended. BTW, I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick of companies discontinuing good products all the time!

Not great or amazing! I've used it both in winter and in summer, have to say it is more a winter sunblock, because in summer it melts and makes you look super shiny! In winter it kind of hangs in there a little better, it is heavier than I would like, though it says sheer, lotion has a little tint about it, which I indeed liked because, it subtly conceals any slight imperfections you might have, would work better for drier skins I think.

I was a huge fan of a mascara called Accentuous. Astonishingly, L'Oreal took this gem off the market several years ago. Since then, I have wandered from one brand to the next trying to find something, anything, even as remotely effective. When I read on a blog that this product was made by the same company and was, in fact, the same product in a different package, I quickly and eagerly made my purchase.

It is not. sigh.

Lancome DEFINICILS High Definition Black Mascara is just like any other mascara out there, but worse in that it is:
-too expensive
-too small a quantity
-too 'quick drying'. contents of the bottle dry out too quickly necessitating more frequent purchases of said product and moreover
-difficult to apply without forming clumps because it dries too quickly on the lashes which makes it difficult to control its application.

I gave it 2 stars b/c yes, it is a mascara and works like a mascara and yes, it is black.

I really like this mascara. I only gave it 4 because it is clumpy and I have to spend a little time with my eyelash comb getting the clumps out. Otherwise, it is the only mascara that doesn't cause me to loose a ton of lashes. Everything else from Estee Lauder, Bourjois to Great Lash causes me loose a lot of lashes. I also like that if I cry, I don't wind up looking like a raccoon, it subtly melts away; no mess! It washes off easily with soap and water and is flexible, not flaky.

The mascara was very dry and I am sure old. I used to be a Lancome Business Manager and this product obviously has been sitting in their warehouse beyond its usable date. This is to no fault of Lancome, they have a fabulous mascara, undoubtedly due to the company that warehouses and resells the product.
